I know i could of picked one of the smaller priced horses, but Royal Riviera caught my eye, and i like his e/w chances at a very nice price

His stats for this ground today reads 1,3,1. His last win came on Heavy over 4 furlongs further in June this year in a higher class. He was put up a hefty but fair 9lbs for that win, and my only worry would be he is now in the handicappers grip, although thanks to some poor performances over much longer distances he is now only 3lbs higher than his last win. I think the drop back in distance combined with gound he seems to like, and the form of the stable. I like his chances e/w, he could even win this but i do like Gran Torino in this and he will not mind the conditions either.

It does contain 2 previous winners of the race and after doing the system, i will conceed that Corach Rambler has a massive chance to follow up here, however we all saw the effort he put in at Cheltenham, it blew me away and it was well reported exactly how tired he was after the race. That worries me as it wasnt that long ago, althougth everything points to another very good run.
