Straight From The Horse Mouth

Straight From The Trainers Mouth

Brian Meehan
FLYWHEEL (Lingfield 4.30 p.m.) Daughter of Teofilo makes her debut on the back of some consistent home work. She is sure to be better for the outing, but has obvious potential as she is half-sister to the smart 2010 juvenile Formosina.
SUJET BELLAGIO (Lingfield 5.00 p.m.) Acclamation gelding showed his aptitude for a Polytrack surface with a series of good runs in a busy winter campaign. Freshened after a break, he made a highly-promising return at Ripon and could well have won that Class 3 race with a little better luck in running. Should appreciate this ease in class and has excellent prospects.

2:00 Lingfield - Keyaadi 8/1 and Mutasadder 14/1
In the opening division of the mile maiden both Keyaadi and Mutasadder have been declared. The former has run well on both his previous starts including when fifth in a decent maiden at Newbury in May. Mutasadder is not a straightforward horse to train but he has been gelded since his last run and hopefully this can bring about some improvement.
Keyaadi leads up Warren Hill

.
2:30 Lingfield - Eamaadd 11/2
In the second division of the race Eamaadd  makes his debut. This son of Medicean has had his issues but it is good to get him to the track.
3:30 Lingfield  - Native Colony 16/1
Native Colony tackles the 2m handicap at 3.30. He hasn't been given much help by the handicapper so he will be ridden by our apprentice Jean Van Overmeire who takes 7lb off his back.
4:00 Lingfield – Kuda Huraa 7/1
Our final runner of the afternoon is Kuda Huraa in the 1m5f handicap at 4pm. He has been ready to run for a while but has been unable to due to the soft ground. He is in good form and has won on the all-weather before but it looks a very competitive race for the grade.

James Millman (jockey)
2:30 Lingfield – Clowance Keys 25/1
6:30 Sandown - Mister Musicmaster 5/1
7:30 Sandown - Shavansky 9/2
8:35 Sandown – Dovils Date 7/2
Busy day ahead, drivin box 2 Ling with CKeys, prob not gd enough 2 win a mdn but shld b ok in hcaps. Thn 3 gd chances at Sand, hpe a winner. Ammongst thm + disappointed if all 3 not in £money.

Mark Usher
4:30 Lingfield - Our Golden Girl 40/1
She will obviously be more competitive after this run, when she will be running in nursery handicaps
5:00 Lingfield – Sweet Ovation 20/1
This looks a competitive race, as everything looking for quicker ground is running in it. She does have plenty of positives going for her though, being a course and distance winner, with the added plus of Hayley Turner being up, who has ridden her on all of her wins. So at a bigger price she is worth each-way support.
7:00 Sandown – Haatefina 2/1
This is over an extra furlong but judging by how she runs and her breeding, it should be no problem. Obviously she is such a short price due to the horse that beat her at Newbury ‘Maureen’ only being beaten a neck in the Cherry Hinton at Newmarket last week.
