16:05 Thirsk – Arctic Feeling  14/1 and What About You 20/1
Arctic Feeling ran a good race at Chester and returns to action in the Yorkshire Outdoors Adventure Experiences Handicap also at Thirsk. He was badly drawn the last day and was stuck on the outside and he has a chance here.
What About You also runs but is just about the most disappointing horse we've had. He works real well, works with all the top sprinters and goes nicely with them too. He's been freshened up, given plenty of time to get over any issues he has so I hope to see more. I wouldn't like to split my pair.
19:45 Doncaster – Lady’s First 13/2
I like Ladys First a lot and she reappears in the Frenchgate First For Fashion Handicap. I hope she runs a big race because she's the sort of filly we'd like to run in the Sandringham at Royal Ascot. She needs to go up in the handicap to get in that, she's rated 89 and that's a 96-110. She's fit and very well and I'm hoping she runs a very big race for the owner. I'll make her my latest charity bet - courtesy of Sky Bet - £25 each-way.

14:45 Newmarket – Mince 7/2 and Tioman Legend 40/1
We have a busy day tomorrow with three runners going to Newmarket and three at our local track Newbury. Both Mince and Tioman Legend run in the Coral Sprint Cup which is a tough 20 runner sprint handicap. Mince is ridden by Frankie Dettori for the first time who won this race for my predecessor Jeremy Tree on Didicoy on the 13th May 1989 when he was a 5 lb claimer. Interestingly the race had the same sponsor (Corals)  and the prize money in 23 years has only increased by 15% ! which is a bit disappointing.  Mince was a little unlucky last time when she finished 2nd and I hope she can make the improvement to win but Tioman Legend was very free in the same race and  needs to settle better.
16:50 Newbury – Border Legend 4/1
Border Legend is another big gelding who measures 16.1 hh by one of my favourite stallions Selkirk, who sired the winners Cityscape, Priceless Jewel and Rosslyn Castle for us this season.  His debut at Newbury a month ago was full of promise and he should be suited by going an extra two furlongs tomorrow but he has not yet reached his full strength.  Given some time and patience he should develop into a nice horse later in the year and I hope he runs well tomorrow.

15:55 Newmarket – Spice Fair 11/2
Always runs a solid race, although this is another step-up for him, you would hope he has a chance.
