Double Whammy comes back to defend his ground off 1lb higher in the handicap. But today he he carries top weight and his last run wasn't his finest, you can dismiss the 2 runs before that as it was heavy ground and that going is unsuitable, todays going and track will be much more to his liking, and you should see an improved run. The weight just worries me. Optimistic Bias stood out for me, the going will suit and the step up in distance will be no problem. He won for his new connections last time out in conditions that probably didn't suit, so hopefully he an come on from that again, his 2 runs before that on soft were probably similar, but he still ran well. 1st Atty Persse 9/4 - 100 2nd The Grape Escape 5/1 - 85 3rd Cullingworth 22/1 - 75 Atty Persse is obviously 1 from 1 and with the trainer in form has obvious claims, his win came over C&D. The Grape Escape is also a C&D winner before being beaten in a group 3, he could go well However interestingly Cullingworth has the best speed over 1m so they need to have improved over the winter.
