23/02/19 3:40 Chepstow - System

1st Sandymount 14/1 - 65
2nd El Bandit 8/1 - 60
3rd Samburu Shujaa 9/4 - 50

Sandymount is a confusing one as only ever once gone 3 miles, and it was a slightly better race and was only beaten a legnth, but then he was off for nearly 1 and a half years. His comeback run wasn't great but he obviously needed the run badly. He is 5lb lower than his 2nd over 3 miles. If he is back to full fitness he could go well and it will be no surprise to see him in the top 3. Both his wins have come after a comback run from a break, so maybe he will again!

El Bandit, comes from the in form stable of Paul Nicholls, who actually has Kapcorse as well, Kapcorse scored 35. El Bandit is 2lb lower than the last time he was in a handicap, and he won that. he hasn't been doing too well in Listed and Graded company over fences, so this will be easier, and he reverts back to hurdles. He has claims if reverting to hurdles and handicap compnay works

Samburu Shujaa won impressively last time out when stepped up to 3 miles, has big claims.

My Selection: Sandymount 14/1
