21/04/18 4:05 Ayr - Scottish National - System

1st Vicente 9/1 - 85
2nd Label Des Obeaux 22/1 - 55
3rd Silsol 25/1 - 50

there were 7 horses who scored 30 and came 4th

So the big question is, can Vicente win it for a third time - my system says yes! What we must remember is that this system is based on facts and figures and Vicente has won it twice already, which for my system means a lot of points.

Vicente is 4lb higher than when winning this last year and the year before. I expect Nicholls would have preferred a couple pounds less. However he won by a neck last time from Cogry and  Vicente is up4lb but Cogry is up 6lb, so Vicente is 2lb better off with Cogry. He looks set for a good run here, and should go well.

Label Des Obeaux is a good horse on his day, seems a bit lost recently though, he is now 1lb lowever than winning on this card last year in a novice race. The big question with his is, will he get the distance? quite possibly as looks like a stayer, and the ground is probably just what he needs over this distance

Silsol is another horse who will stay all day long, and could be the biggest danger to his stable mate.  he is a whopping 16lb lower in the handicap than when he last won in a hurdles race, so if he can run to his hurdles form then he could go very well, incidentally since that hurdles win, he hasnt had his ground, he finally gets it today. i think he can run a big race. I wouldn't put you off an ew bet

My Selection: Vicente 9/1 ew (Silsol 25/1 ew as well)
