3rd Khezerabad 11/4 - 40

Actually a very tough race here.

Captitaine just edged it, a few reasons, one is that the headgear applied last time seemed to have done the trick. He won so easily despite the fact he had been off the track a long time. He will be much fitter here and i think this is a horse that Nicholls has pointed out as one to watch this season. Nicholls is in form as well and the horse has a big chance.

Tahira scored very high, i do think he has been flattered slightly, and i cant really see him in the top 2 here, this certainly looks like a race between Capitaine and Khezerbad.

Khezerbad is obviously very highly though of. He was tried in a Grade 2 and 3 on his first and second outing. But could only get off the mark in a Class 4 Maiden. Hopefully its given him bunles of confidence however i think he needs to find something to beat Captitaine.

  1st Corach Rambler 11/2 - 85 2nd Delta Work 18/1 - 60 3rd Galia Des Liteaux 25/1 - 50 3rd Aint That A Shame 50/1 - 50 3rd Chambard 66/1 - 50 3rd Noble Yeats 16/1 - 50 (FYI 4th Vanillier & Mac Tottie 45, 5th Nassalam, Limerick Lace, Run Wild Fred 40. 6th Latenightpass, Minella Indo & Eklat De Rire 35) I kind of feel disappointed that only one horse i like got into the top here. It does contain 2 previous winners of the race and after doing the system, i will conceed that Corach Rambler has a massive chance to follow up here, however we all saw the effort he put in at Cheltenham, it blew me away and it was well reported exactly how tired he was after the race. That worries me as it wasnt that long ago, althougth everything points to another very good run.
