Interesting race this. Sir Michael Stoute has a good strike rate here at Thirsk, and Peter Chapple Hyam has the nb, and they have some fascinating runners.

I was on Sunglider already as connections think he will run very well on this faster surface. Not going to lie the drift from 9/2 out to 9/1 is a big worry.

Mustashry has the best speed stats and is obviously the horse to beat based on odds. I think he is far too short though and am happy with Sunglider, however Sabre Squadron's connections have had 2 maiden runners in the last 14 days, and both have won, so those stats ook good, plus the trainer is going through a purple patch.

I am happy to take on the fave here, especially as the odds are too short.

It does contain 2 previous winners of the race and after doing the system, i will conceed that Corach Rambler has a massive chance to follow up here, however we all saw the effort he put in at Cheltenham, it blew me away and it was well reported exactly how tired he was after the race. That worries me as it wasnt that long ago, althougth everything points to another very good run.
