Interesting race this, and it all centre's around AP McCoy. His ride
Bombedero. Shown nothing really and not much to recommend unless i am
missing something, although he is dropping in class by quite a bit. Which will put him in there with a good chance.
But the main reason i notice is because, Rebecca Curtis and Jonjo
O'Neill have horses running in the race Vimiero and Castle Beach both of
whom AP has ridden, but another horse Wayward Glance who AP has ridden
quite a bit and won last time out on him. So why is he jumping ship?
Especially when he is so close to his 4000 win. To me there must be a
very good reason.
5:20 Chepstow - A Tail Of Intrigue 25/1 (ladbrokes)
A
Tail Of Intrigue? so i have a question. 5:20 Chepstow, Southfield Vic
is a a horse from Paul Nicholls yard, the jockey someone i presume to be
Paul Nicholls daughter. First time ever under rules. Southfield Vic is
the favourite after winning his debut Bumper in impressive style. But
then there is a horse running called Tail Of Intrigue ridden by Harry
Derham, who's last ride was a win, so why is he not riding Southfield
Vic? Surely logic suggest Nicholls would put Harry Derham on the horse
to get the win. I know she claims 7lbs, but Harry claims 5lb so not sure
2lbs will make an immense difference. Southfield Vic is 2/1 Tail Of
Intrigue is 25/1. SV hasn't run for several months where Tail Of
Intrigue came back after a break to come 2nd in a Bumper, and will be
fitter for that race. Speculation of course.
