One to watch out for 3:30 Newmarket - Birdman 16/1 e/w step down in class, i followed this horse last year, maybe better if it rained but has run some very good races in defeat.

5:15 Newmarket - Improvisation 15/8

This is a horse i had on my one to watch list. His first race was a very hot affair and has had some very smart horses in it including Dundonnell and Ghurair, it was a more timid race last time out and possibly disappointed a little, although a very close 3rd, and he was beaten by Steeler, who has gone on to a lot better. His dam is half-sister to smart middle-distance stayer Self Defense out of half-sister to Irish Oaks winner Princess Pati. So this step up in distance suggests it will suit well.

Connections hold him in "High Esteem" and Mickael Barzalona rides, and it is his only ride tomorrow. Improvisation holds a Dante and Derby entry. And has wintered very well.

I do hate to tip in races Maidens but this horse looks like he is the one to beat.
